Here are some cool airplane video I have found around the Internet.

This video is from the 5th World Jet Masters held in South Africa from April 26 to May 3rd at Swartkops (inactive) Air Force Base.
All these crashes took place during competition flights on the various different days. Swartkops airfield is about 5000ft above sea level. The seriously reduced air density makes flying more difficult, especially heavy jets and the turbines don't like it either, running hotter, faster and producing less thrust.
For those new to R/C modeling or jets, they are big, only fly fast, and usually cost $6,000-$10,000 US. They are one of the pinnacles of model aviation. Also, the landing gear automatically retracts on take-off so they don't get ripped-off in flight (in case you were wondering why they raise them so quickly).

This video is a dog-fight between a P-51 Mustang and a Zero.

This video is Snoopy vs. The Red Baron.

This video is not R/C models but full-sized aircraft. You might have seem some of these before over the years.
My favorite is the passenger jet pilot who apparently pulls off that sideways landing... nice flying!

This video is of Bill Hempel's award winning 50% Edge 540's last flight.
The hovering is impressive, but my favorite part is the low high-speed pass (it just makes me smile for some reason).

You can Right-Click and save files these to your hard-drive for later viewing.
